Continue on working towards getting my B.A. in History through CollegePlus!
Work on health/fitness plan and sticking with it. Fortunately I'm blessed to have a friend who is becoming a personal fitness trainer and has offered to help me with areas I need help in! Looking forward to this one!
Travel to see Meredith! This is something I can hardly wait for and will be looking forward to meeting my lovely friend who seems more like a sister sometime this year!
Attend the “Christians at the Crossroads” Conference.
Read many books
Make new friends.
Journal more.
Pray diligently for my future husband.
Evangelize more.
Serve others more. I think I found in 2008 that one of my biggest gifts is serving...so I plan to do a lot of that in 2009.
Write more. I have a lot of essays that I will be writing for school but I hope to do some writing for pleasure such as: poems, stories, maybe that book that I started a looong time ago!
i think your goals are wonderful. just found your blog. i'm Melissa and a single mom by choice to a daughter from china. i know our situations are different, but i believe we can all lift each other up in God if we try.
I am a 21 year old home-school graduate living at home with my family in Northwest Georgia. I earnestly desire to be a faithful daughter as I serve my family. Some of my interests are cooking, photography, reading, studying theology, writing, decorating, sewing, gardening, politics, and soaking up all sorts of knowledge that will one day better prepare me as a home-maker.
I hope that I am able to encourage young girls in their pursuit of being obedient to the Lord in all that they do. It is my desire to be an example of godliness in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith and in purity. As I share with you my journey, I will write about my thoughts and ideas, as well as my day-to-day life, while I serve my family and the body of Christ at home.
