My Daybook...

I was planning to post this earlier this week but never had the chance. So here is My Daybook from Wednesday...

Outside my window...it’s cloudy and raining (great reading weather)!

I am thinking...about all the work that I will be doing in the coming months.

I am thankful for...Jesus, a lovely home, family, friends, inspiring books, our founding fathers, and for all of those who have served this country and keep us safe!

From the kitchen...comes the aroma of coffee!

I am creating...a scrapbook for my pictures.

I am going... to run some errands in a few minutes.

I am wearing... jeans and a shirt.

I am reading... well, I just finished reading The Raising of a President by: Doug Wead. I’m not sure which book I’ll be reading next…so many to choose from!

I am hoping... that I get all of the things on my list finished.

I am hearing... classical music from the NPR station.

Around the house... are many books.

One of my favorite things...is to have a really great conversation with someone!

A few plans for the rest of the week... finish getting my nephews birthday present together, plan what dish we are taking to our fellowship group this Sunday, and order books online.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

The Annie Moses Band Comes To Town...

If you are looking for music that is uplifting, beautiful, and gives glory to the Lord, please take a moment and listen to the Annie Moses Band. I've been to three concerts and own a couple of their cd's. This is a family band with a beautiful legacy of their music and faithfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ. Each time I come away from one of their concerts I am so encouraged in my Christian walk. I hope that you will be as blessed as I have been with their beautiful music.

I'm BACK!!!

It's so good to be back and blogging again! Last month I had decided to take some time off from writing on the blog and simply work on projects around the house. I also had a wonderful visit from my sister-in-law Jennifer and my nephew Drew! Then had to be off my feet for a few days after having two planters warts removed from the bottom of my foot...Ouch! Now that August is here things are calming down, well I hope they are! Here are a few pictures from last month.

From white kitchen walls to.....

COLOR!!!!

It's amazing how color can change everything.

It's DREW!!!!!!!

Out to lunch.

I love this little guy!
